Dr. Daniel Eneojo Idoko is a highly skilled Veterinary Nutritionist and Feed Mill Operations Specialist with a strong track record in large-scale animal production systems and industrial feed manufacturing. He hails from the Igala-speaking region of Kogi State, Nigeria, and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Ahmadu Bello University in 2018.
He is an active member of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (Kaduna State Chapter), demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence, ethical standards, and continuous development within the veterinary and animal nutrition industry.
Dr. Idoko possesses extensive hands-on experience across feed formulation, quality control, and feed mill management. He began his professional career with Sunseed Nigeria Limited, where he served as a Veterinary Nutritionist and Head of Quality Control and Process. During his tenure, he successfully developed high-performance layer and broiler feed formulations that gained wide acceptance and were distributed across Nigeria, contributing significantly to improved poultry productivity.
He later joined Nutriment Feed Kaduna as a Nutritionist and Head of Feed Mill. In this role, he led the formulation of an innovative broiler ration known as Nutriment Oxygen—a mash feed with an impressive feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.7. This product remains commercially successful and is distributed nationwide, reflecting his expertise in cost-effective and performance-driven feed solutions.
At Joakins Farm, Dr. Idoko served as Head of Feed Mill and Nutritionist, overseeing feed production for a large-scale integrated farm with a capacity of over 120,000 birds, including layers, brooding, and rearing units, alongside a piggery operation. His role involved optimizing feed efficiency, ensuring quality control, and supporting overall farm productivity through strategic nutritional management.
Currently, he serves as Head of Feed Mill at County Choice Farms, where he continues to drive operational excellence, innovation in feed formulation, and sustainable livestock production practices.
