Benson Akpati is a Nigerian agribusiness executive and technology-driven business leader, serving as the Managing Director and CEO of County Choice Farms Limited. He leads one of Nigeria’s fast-growing integrated agricultural enterprises, with operations spanning poultry production, feed milling, fish farming, palm plantation, and agribusiness consulting. Under his leadership, the company has grown revenue from ₦360 million in 2019 to over ₦4 billion in 2025, driven by strategic expansion, operational efficiency, and strong financial discipline.
Before transitioning fully into agribusiness, Benson built a distinguished career in the Nigerian banking sector, where he held senior technology leadership roles. He served as Chief Information Officer at Oceanic Bank Plc and later as Head of Technology Applications at Ecobank Nigeria following the bank’s merger. Earlier in his career at Zenith Bank Plc, he rose to Assistant General Manager and Group Head of IT, overseeing technology operations across multiple subsidiaries, including the UK and Ghana. Benson holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and an MBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
