CCF started cultivation of palms in 2015 with the cultivation of 4,000 palms seedlings on 20 hectares of land. The Company plans to develop one thousand four hundred hectares of oil palm estate within nine years, to produce fresh fruit-bunches of high oil content that will feed the company’s proposed oil mill for the production of palm oil, palm kernel oil and palm kernel cake.
With a plantation site yield potential of at least 12 metric tons/hectare/annum, County Choice Farms oil mill is expected to have a capacity sufficient to produce in excess of 2,688 metric tons of crude palm oil per annum, and 322 metric tons of palm kernel oil per annum by year 2026, when the company’s total established palms would be in their plateau yield.
